The Christmas Day!

Good afternoon classmates! Today I will write about the Christmas Day.

This year was very special because I stay in classes then I don’t can celebrate.

The Friday in the University were a party “fair Christmas”. I meet with my friends and drink a “tail of monkey” that is a typical Chilean beverage.

Besides whit my friends (Catalina, Misael, Luis, Geri and Pedro) played “secret friend”  

My family is atheistic and me too. I don’t believe in Jesus not even in God. But the family of my boyfriend is Catholic they celebrate the Christmas and I went with them. After the twelve, I join with the Pedro’s friends and drink a beer.   

Despite of I am atheistic but I like the Christmas because is end of year and the people is happy bought the gifts.  This year Pedro gives me the clothes (two T-shirts and shorts) I love it!

But the best present for me was my pet “Gallery”: she comes to my house the last week, dirty and slim, but now she is very fat and funny.      

The Christmas Day is not really important for me and the people don´t remember the really sense of the Christmas. I hope every people stay whit your family. 

Good afternoon classmates today I will talk about my favorite beach… I like the color bronze in my skin ergo I love the beach, the sand, the sun and the waves. When I was a little girl I went to the Serena every summer with my family, but now the beach is full of people and don´t like the commotion. So with my family go to the north...

I like the stay in the beach but I really hate the water because in Chile is very cold. For this reason I go to the beach in the north of Chile.

The summer 2010 I was in Punta de Choros with my boyfriend Pedro. The Island Seagull and Choros are a paradise, is as to be in the heaven.
The sand is white such as Cancun or Brazil. The water is warm and the peoples are nice. I really enjoy stay here this summer.

In a day normal you can to swim and see a lot species of mammals such as seals, whale and dolphin.
The only inconvenient is the price of the excursions, are really expensive.
When I was in Punta the Choros I ate too. The traditional food is the seafood. I ate scallops, clams and fishes.  
I hope to return this summer with my family when the classes in my university finish.  

Cycling

Hello everybodys! How are you? In this oportunity I will talk about my hobbie: the ciclyng

I like spend my free time with my twin Natalia, the most of outdoor activities are with her.
Since we were girls we do sports such as: Athletics, swimming and basketball. But only one sport is the most exciting for me: The cycling. I love the bicycle, and I use for go to everywhere. When I go to the University in the morning, When I go to the shopping and even walk my dog I use the bicycle.
Lately I go with my sister to the park San Albert Hurtado on bicycle for relax and do sport, is the best therapy for clear my mind.
The bike almost is the best alternative for transport because does not emit toxics gases such as car, is friendly with the environment, does not emit contamination acoustic, is more economical than buy benzine, make you healthy and a lots of benefits.
I would like cross the Austal road with my sister some day.
I recommend the bike for everyone is the best alternative of transport in the city.
    

I like the traditional chilean music or folkloric, groups such as: Inti Illimani, Los Jaivas, Violeta Parra, Victor Jara, Patricio Mans, etc. Since girl my parents  learned me the love for this kind of music and your meaning, since for them this song remember moments very painful of you past above all military dictatorship. Is difficult for me choose only a sing, because all are beautiful. However there is one song that has a meaning special for my family this is: “Vuelvo” by Illapu. Because we have family and friends exiled, this song demonstrates the wishes that have for return to Chile. Also I have two cousins that have a group of music called “Vjara” and always play this song in the concerts

I hope someday to heard them in a concert whit my family and I hope that someday all the people Chilean appreciate this music is so beautiful.

Face to Face

Hello everybodys ! Now I will talk about a great man... read please

I like have a one on one with my spiritual leader: Gandhi. He was a person that I really admire; He was a leader and an example for the humanity around the world.

Gandhi was the first political and ideological leader of India during the period of independence. He won the independence India thought non-violence y civil disobedience.

I would talk with Gandhi because he was a national hero; he won the emancipation and moreover integrated the most popular classes, tried to eliminate the “castes” that discriminate the person in slaves, untouchable and barbaric.  

 His birthday, 2 October, is commemorated in India a national holiday, and worldwide as the International Day of Non-Violence.

Is I can a face to face with Gandhi first I would appreciate for the message of peace and love that he left in the world. After I would ask:

¿How do you resist the hunger strike?

¿Who do you inspired?

¿How we can prevent a world war?

I think that needed more leaders with Gandhi in the world and less dictators.

Machu Picchu

Good evening visitor

In this opportunity I will talk about my favourite trip: When I was in Macchu Picchu.

When I studied in the school, in the vacation of summer I went with my family to Perú. I always wanted to know Perú.I love this country, your culture, traditions and landscape.

I remember the trip because I traveled with all my family (my parents and my three sisters). I think that Peru is a magic country because the majority of people are native (Incas) and they have maintained the Inca tradition.

First I was in Lima and later flew to Cuzco. Unfortunately I had altitude sickness and I lost several days in recovered my health, however was the best trip in my life.

The most interesting to visit Lima was the tour to the Gold Museum. After in Cuzco I visited many ruins that as: Koricancha and Saccsaiwaman

Also I remember the small town “aguas calientes” a village near to the lost city “ Machu Picchu” where the food is very taste and have a  thermal baths. I love “Aguas Calientes” because is a very small village ideal for relax. I love to live in Cuzco, is a magical city that transports visitors back in the time. I hope return someday.

The Simpson

Another post free. This time I'll talk about another of my favorites: The Simpsons. The Simpsons is an animated television series that aired in 1989 when I was not born yet. But I began to see it from very young with my older sister. This series was created by cartoonist Matt Groening genius. He created The Simpsons inspired by a typical American middle class family, and the names of the characters out of his own family (siblings, parents, friends), while Bart is an anagram of Brat. The main characters in the series are: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and little Maggie. My favorite character is Bart. This series is excellent because it primarily deals with the black humor to make a paraodia the average American. I see almost every night on Fox series, it makes me laugh, I can watch episodes over and over again without getting bored. Matt Also created in 1999 one of my favorite shows: Futurama in 3000 inspired the adventures of Fray. I love how will humanity in a thousand years, they continue making the same mistakes. This two series is spectacular to see with the family, friends etc. I love them. See you in the other post!

"LOST"

Today I will talk about my favorite of television series

 I love this series because since I saw for the first time I caught myself wanting to finish the chapters never. Always I see with my boyfriend in your house or in my home, is wonderful.

Lost is an American television series that originally aired on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) between 2004 and 2010, consisting of six seasons. Lost is a drama series that follows the lives of various individuals and groups of people, most importantly the survivors of the crash of flying between Sydney and Los Angeles, on a mysterious tropical island somewhere in the South Pacific Ocean. Lost was created by Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof who share story-writing credits for the pilot episode, which Abrams directed. Due to its large ensemble cast and the cost of filming primarily on location in Oahu, Hawaii, the series was one of the most expensive on television. 

I saw the show from the start because the topic I found interesting and never seen before, also had a very good cast of actors.

Another reason why I watched the series is "Charlie" one of the main actors of the script that I love and which has a central role during most of the series. He plays a rock drigadicto as many English (hahaha) that survives and must fight every day against his addiction.

Macchu Picchu

Hi everybodys!

In this opportunity i will talk about my more interesting trip  that was Macchu Pichu in Perú. When I was in 3ª of high school my parents told meto choose where to travel for the summer like I choose Perú because I wanted to knowthe Incas ruins.

The trip was amazing! First I went with my family (my 3 sisters and my 2 parents) in Lima. Met the Gold Museum and ate all the dishes, the food was delicious. Days later flew to the most beautiful city I have ever known: Cuzco. In the city everything was magical and it seemed that nothing had changed since it was built, I met the churches, and some ruins. Finally ( as the teacher) went with my family to the town Aguas Calientes, was a beautiful place with incredible baths also the view of the river and the mountains was incredible. Finally we went to Machu Picchu was a tropical rainfall by the Bolivian winter but the scenary was beautifull. Never forget th Inca ruins in my life. It wasa wonderful trip  and I would like to repeat soon.

 My Favourite director

Hello everybodys!

In this opportunity I talk about a wonderfull movie: The Chihiro trip and its director Hayao Miyazaki.

This movie was direct by Hayao Miyazaki, that is a genius of animation Japanse.

The film was debut in 27 of July 2001 in Japan. Its described the venture of a child of ten years old called Chihiro Ogino, who stay a half of moving with her parents. In the process, her father take a short cut and they lost, coming to strange tunnel, into the tunnel they descovery a deserted city full of mistery.

The film was critically acclaimed and received more than 14 award. The film won the Academmy Award for Best  animation movie.

I saw this movie  a long time ago in 2001 when its  debut in 2001 in Chile.

Also Hayao Miyasaki directed other movies  as The princess Mononoke that is a movie inspired in the fight between defending of native forest and and the humans that destroy the nature. This film is a touching scene about the reality and problems of contemporary society are reflected in the movie.  I recommend to everybodys that see the Hayao Miyasaki flms because are appropiarte for all year and has a critcal message

Italo-American

Latin America is a country very diverse culturally because the Europe colonization and  migration attracted many persons.

In Chile generally  we discriminate to people of the other countrys. In especial to the peruvians. The chileans says that the periuvians are dirty and ugly. Mi elder sister has a boyfriend peruvian called Miguel, he live in Perú and travel all the year to vist my sister.  He is kind and  handsome. The only different is the food (with more season) and he has a Caribbean accent.

A prejudice present in Chile is that the Argentines are more handsome and charming. I think that is true because when I was in Mendoza the men had a strong personality and were not shy.

Other example of sterotypes are the Italo-American that the program  MTV “Jersy Shore” shows in the television. The italian colony in Chile is a big. The grandfather of my boyfriend Pedro is Italian. He arrived to Chile in 1950 approximately. He escaped of the second war world and arrived to Quinta Normal where he formed a family. They are friendly, extrovert and handsome but they are big mouths. Their  food is delicious (noodle, rabioles, lasagna, cake and dessert) and they like to wear with clothes elegant.                     

Cartagena

My Favourite Beach

Hello everybodys!  In this oportunnity I talk about my favorite beach Cartagena. This place is located in the fifth region of  Valparaíso and has a two beachs: Playa Grande and Playa Chica, both are beautiful but are contaminate.

 I like Playa Grande because each  year I go for celebrate the welcome party  to Universidad de Chile.  Each year thousands persons came of the Playa Grande of Cartagena for celebrate the start of new academic year. I went to three partys in the beach along of my career because in the 2010 afeter the earthquake,  there wasn´t beach party.

This year I went with my school friends and my boyfriend Pedro that got drunk. ! after with my friend Catalina (Pedro slept) danced in the sand with music live and went to eat  fish fried and drank beer.   I enjoyed visit this beach in March with my friends.

 I would like that the party was more clean because in the last opportunity all the people threw trash top the sand.

Finally other beach that I like is Punta de Choros in the fourth region of Coquimbo  here a lot of the biodiversity I went in a boat to Isla Damas and Choros.

       

My first CD

Hello everybody!!  The first CD that my parents gave me don´t was an CD, It was an casette and was of a mouse of the television called topoyiyo, but that was many years ago. The first CD that bought was “Ni por la Razón Ni por la Fuerza” of the band Chilean “Los Prisioneros”.  I don´t remember how much it cost, but I bought with my sister Natalia whit my first allowance when I was 9 years old.  When child I liked very much the songs of Los Prisioneros because we’re are very critical and the same time very rhythmics.  Moreover I liked the vocalist of the band Jorge Gonzales because he was very rough.

The Disc has almost entire songs successful of the band, moreover included songs unpublished. This is considered by the critical how the best album collection of the group. The name of the disc   is a parody the slogan native “por la razón o por la fuerza” for it is contradictory. Some of my favourites songs are: “Tren al Sur”, “Sexo”, “Corazones rojos” and  “Estrechez de corazón”. I would like go to the they did in the Estadio Nacional in 2003. Today, many years later I like more.

First i P (I) must make clear that i P (I) am NN (I’m) not a big fan of the "ciberworld", but in the moderns time WW (moderns times) is almost impossible to be out. Years ago i P (I) used to use diary messenger, have WW (had) conversation with my friends, spent a lot of time in this and usually i S (I) got fighting because of the coumputer with my stepbrother, but now i S (I) dont enjoy it so and i P (I) use it just for specific this, like coordinate works and this kind of things.
Actually the social network that i P (I) take a look now and then is Facebook, i use it to let post to my friends and receive information about events and partys.
And now i'm SP (I´m) learning to use this tool "Blogspot", i P(I) think is a good idea to know how are our classmates in this class and maybe help someone.
Moreover i P (I) use Myspace to listen music from some band that i P(I) cant P (can´t) find to download or know new bands, in fact right now im P (i´m) listening through myspace a Chilean singer called Mamacita, i P(I) saw her the last week live and i P(I) begged her to give me one cd that she was selling, because i P(I) didn't have more money to buy it (she gave it to me free). she makes really funny music! LISTEN TO HIM!

My Favourite field trip

When I was in sixth semester of my career I had the opportunity to take elective Glaciology with Professor Francisco Ferrando, the course was boring but the field trip was wonderful. The field trip started on December 8 in 2010, we went to Paso Aguas Negras in the fourth region near the border with Argentina in search of two rock glaciers: “El Tapado” and the “Llano de las Liebres” that were more than 4000 meters above sea level. We set up in a base camp and from there we had to go up the two days we were in search of glaciers. The first day I was sick, and the morning of 9 December we had to go in search of the “Llano de las Liebres”, was very tiring but we reached the top. The second day we went to Glacier “El Tapado” reached 4800 meters above sea level; the landscape was really beautiful and was a unique experience. Although of the cold and the sick of height, the field trip has been the best of my career because I had the opportunity to see a glacier that are now in danger of disappearing.

The Social Network

My favorite social network is Facebook.

Facebook is a platform connected to all the world that can make contact, friends or business with people that are all the world. "In My Wall" I public daily things and my friends can comment about the matter. In “Home” appear all the update state of my friends and that’s keep me informed so that's what happens
I started using it in 2009 when my college friends forced me to create me one, since then I got addicted and use it daily uploading my photos, thoughts and states. I like it because I can contact people haven’t seen for a long time, see photos of my friends and my boyfriend control. Today I have more than 200 "friends" including real friends, schoolmates and classmate.
The creator of "Facebook" Marck Zuckerberg is a genius as saw in the movie "The social Network" he created a simple software, easy to use, where people can connect and learn about their state. First the software was for Harvard but was so successful that it was expanding across the world becoming a Mark in the world's youngest billionaire. Today "Facebook" has more than 500 million users and has been translated into over 70 languages.

A Good Concert

The best concert in my life was the "tour in rainbows" of the band Radiohead in 2009. I saved a lot of money all the year to go. The concert was realized on March 26 in the National Stadium. The show was attended for 26.000 fans. I went with my twin Natalia and I met with my sociology teacher Larenas!!! 
Radiohead went to Chile to promote their last disc "In Rainbows" with songs like: Faust Arp, House of Cads and
The band consist of Thom Yorke, Jonny and Collins Grenwood, Ed O´Briden and Philip Selway.
I am fan since 2005 when for first time heard a song (Creep) in the radio and I loved it.
I enjoyed very much the concert because was a wonderfull show with ligths and effects fantastics.

I decided to go to the event because I like very much their music and their song. But the most important is that I love Thom Yorke!!!!.

I am exainting because Radiohead come for the next Lollapaloza.

Favourite Movie

One of my favorites movies is the "Black Swan"  by Darren Aronofsky and starring Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel and Mila Kunis.  This history take place in a ballet academy in New York.

I like this movie because speech about two ballet dancers that compete for the roll principal  of the swan lakes.

I saw this film in this summer with my boyfriend in the cinema.

The "Black Swan" is better than other movies because is realist, hangover and deep. Too the photography is fantastic and the music is the same that  the swan lake.

This film was critically acclaimed. The film won many awards including Golden Globes and also the star Natalie Portman won the Academy Award for Best Actress.

I am a fan of this movie!!!
